The Willapa – Grays Harbor Oyster Growers Association has an opening for a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator is responsible to define, coordinate, manage, participate in, and follow to completion projects related to shellfish farming while reporting to a diverse Board of Directors. Requires a self-starting, dedicated, and committed person with ability to work independently, and who can assist in pursuing the best interests of the shellfish farming community in Willapa Bay and Grays Harbor. The ideal candidate will have experience in the day to day operations of an association as well as project management with an emphasis on technical agriculture type reporting, scheduling, budgeting, computer skills, and team skills. Knowledge and experience with integrated pest management plans a plus.The ability to clearly communicate and work with regulatory agencies, shellfish growers, contractors, researchers, media, and elected officials is an important aspect of this position. Located in Pacific County, WA this position requires some travel and fieldwork, and is a full time salaried position with some benefits provided.
